Support for Faculty

The France Chicago Center provides support at levels of up to $200,000 per year to University of Chicago faculty members who pursue a range of France-related intellectual and research initiatives, including (but not limited to) conferences and colloquia, visiting faculty from France, cultural and artistic events, and seed-funding for promising collaborative scientific research conducted with a lab in France.

Faculty seeking support from the France Chicago Center for their France-focused initiatives should be aware that guidelines, deadlines, funding limits, and applications procedures will vary depending on the discipline, the scope of the project, and the timing of the request relative to the event and FCC's budget calendar.
