Institut des Amériques

The Institut des Amériques and the University of Chicago signed a five year agreement which establishes the framework for a series of robust exchanges at the graduate student and faculty research levels and creates a new International Hub based at the University of Chicago that will be coordinated by a visiting graduate student from France.

A Collaboration with UChicago Press

We are thrilled to announce The France Chicago Collection now includes four books. Discover new translations and newly published lectures of French philosophers Jacques Derrida, Albert Camus, Michel Foucault, and Pierre Hadot.

France Chicago Center

The France Chicago Center is a University of Chicago-based interdisciplinary organization that facilitates, promotes, and fosters stronger ties between University of Chicago students and researchers and their colleagues in France, while increasing awareness within the University of Chicago community of French culture, art, and thought.
